Retirement
It’s about more than just the money
Search for Retirement or Retirement Planning and all you will see for pages and pages are financial and investment companies.
While this is an important part of any retirement plan, it is by far the only thing to consider.
After a career of 30 or 40 years, the transition to retirement can look daunting, especially given the narrative that suggests a permanent vacation.
Retirement looks like
No structure to the day,
No meaning to the day,
No order to your life,
Day after day
Of course, most executives and professionals think longingly for time to relax with no deadlines, nobody breathing down their neck, no numbers to meet….
There is a difference between a vacation, even an extended one, and a fulfilling, meaningful, joyful retirement.
Retirement and working are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Reimagine work rather than quitting altogether can be a perfect option.
